Remove a picture I took from my iPad wallpaper in iOS 17.7.5.

I replaced my default wallpaper with a picture I took. Now I want to return to my default wallpaper. I did this.

  1. Deleted the picture from my photos.
  2. Settings—>Wallpaper.
  3. Chose my original wallpaper.
  4. Clicked Set.
  5. Pressed my Home button.

The picture is still there as my wallpaper! I’ve repeated these steps over numerous times. HELP!

Try a different path: Lock the iPhone. While on the lock screen, press and hold a finger until the wallpaper shrinks and a Customize button appears. Slide the wallpaper shown right or left to select which wallpaper you want, and then tap again to select.
