Unsupported File Format when exporting Notes via Markup”

Trying to export a text file made in “Notes” to PDF via the Markup function. It pops up the error message “Unsupported File Format.”

This file was made via the autocopy function moving from one iPhone 15 to another (changed carriers). The file is long (several pages) but otherwise there is nothing exceptional about it, only text.

I went to a lot of trouble to save in a simple, universal format that anything can read and edit. the user guide says if I select the file the menu will offer a choice to export the file to a different format, but there’s no such choice on the menu. how do I edit simple text notes? is ventura 13.7.6 notes fully compatible with ios 18.5 I am unable to open some notes made on my iPhone running iOS 18.5 on my 2017 MacBook pro running is ventura 13.7.6. Many hours trying fix and ultimately I have given up. Any body with the same equipment that has a working fix replying to this would be immensely appreciated. I’ve had a wonderful 8 years from the laptop and my iPhone 11 Pro. Which 1 needs upgrading first 🤷‍♂️

Unsupported file format in notes I was able to view these photos I saved previously on my iPhone before it got stolen . then when I bought new phone and synced notes I cannot view some of the photos or pdf files I saved on my previous phone in notes that showed .
