No notifications for text messages on iPhone 15 with 18.3.1

Since applying 18 update, I receive none of the alerts that I have a text message. Unless I am staring at my phone, which is not 24/7, I do know messages are there.

My iPhone is no longer notifying me when text messages arrive Perhaps since the latest software upgrade, my iPhone is no longer placing a "notification" message on the front screen when a new text message arrives. Notifications are turned-on in general and for the Message app in particular, yet nothing shows up.
