How can I permanently get rid of the Dynamic Island?

it stinks that it decides what to put there, especially when it ruins basketball games by giving me the score before FanDuel does.

How do I permanently disable Dynamic Island on iPhone 16? i want to disable dynamic island. its a black sore thumb in the middle of my screen. the music is so distracting, and i dont want to swipe it away every time i turn on music - that’s so crazy! Someone described it as constantly swatting away a fly. Thats what it feels like I don’t like little things popping up on my screen when im doing something else. It’s crazy distracting and annoying. It’s bizarre I can’t disable it when I can disable literally any other iPhone feature. You could at least make it transparent I want it gone, and I’m seriously considering returning this phone and using my old one without this major design flaw [Re-Titled by Moderator]

You can't. It's built into your phone. It can't be removed. It can't be changed.

It’s a cut out in the screen.

It has sensors and cameras in it.

If it bothers you, your only option is to buy a different brand of phone.
