Traditional strength Workout asks if i’ve finished workout between sets

I’m a powerlifter / weightlifter and my workouts focus heavily on maximizing each set and so my rest times are naturally 3-5mins. What’s annoying is every workout I’m having to mute notifications because apple watch thinks i’ve completed my workout. Does Apple think all exercises have continuous elevated HR? This is not cardio or HIIT. Why has Apple not adjusted the detection of inactivity for longer times with these type of lifts. Sometimes straight after a lift when my HR was high then drops it thinks i’m done and that’s not even 2mins into rest.


Super annoying considering i bought this as a fitness tracker. Any other weight lifter find this happens to them?
