Restriction on Creating New Apple IDs

Hello everyone,

I recently created an Apple ID for personal, work, and academic purposes, but after that, my ability to create new accounts was restricted. Now I am unable to register a new Apple ID due to a system limitation.

I would like to understand why this happened and how I can request Apple to lift this restriction. Has anyone experienced a similar issue? If so, how did you resolve it?

I would really appreciate any advice!

Apple limits the number of accounts a device can create within a year, yes.

You’ll need to use a different path to create another Apple Account.

Apple is unlikely to lift that restriction, given the shenanigans that can arise.

Did you create these various Apple Accounts on one device?

If you see “The maximum number of free accounts have been activated” - Apple Support

If you see “The maximum number of free accounts have been activated on this [device]”, it means you have exceeded the number of accounts you can set up with iCloud on a single device in one year.
