How do I move a downloaded app to Home Screen on my iPhone?

I downloaded an app to my iPhone 15, which I now can't find on any home screen. I can use Search to find and open it, but I want to move it into a folder, so I need to locate on a home screen to drag it into that folder. But I can't see it!! How do I locate the icon for that app so I can move it?

Go to the App Library (swipe left past your last Home Screen). From there you can touch and hold an app and slide it to the Home Screen.

Also, there is an option at Settings > Home Screen & App Library where you can choose whether newly downloaded apps download to the Home Screen (and App Library) or just to the App Library).
