Apple TV not turning on Sony TV.

Apple TV remote 4K won't turn on Sony TV?

Got the new Apple TV 4K on 11/3 and synced it with our Sony Bravia and everything worked fine. Now every morning (4) when I use the Siri remote it only turns on the Apple TV and not the Sony TV. I've had to use the Sony remote for that. Once I do that that I can turn both devices on and off throughout the day using the Siri remote as long as it's within a few hours. After an extended period/overnight I have to use the TV remote to turn on the TV, help please?

I'm having the same issue, and have tried all the suggested fixes, ie Bravio Sync settings, wondering if there is an update to this issue?
