This is a common iPhone issue that can be frustrating, especially when you're missing important calls. Let's troubleshoot step by step:

  1. Check your volume settings:
    • Use the volume buttons on the side of your iPhone to make sure your ringer volume is turned up
    • Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics and make sure the volume slider under "Ringers and Alerts" is turned up
    • Make sure "Change with Buttons" is enabled so you can adjust ringer volume with the side buttons
  1. Check your silent switch:
    • Look at the physical switch on the left side of your iPhone
    • If you see an orange indicator, your phone is in silent mode
    • Flip the switch so the orange is no longer visible
  1. Verify Focus modes:
    • Swipe down from the top-right corner to open Control Center
    • Check if any Focus mode is active (Do Not Disturb, Sleep, Work, etc.)
    • Tap to turn it off if one is active
    • Also go to Settings > Focus to ensure no Focus modes are scheduled
  1. Check your call forwarding settings:
    • Go to Settings > Phone > Call Forwarding
    • Make sure it's turned off
  1. Check your Bluetooth connections:
    • Your calls might be routing to a connected Bluetooth device
    • Go to Settings > Bluetooth and disconnect any devices you're not using
  1. Check for software updates:
    • Go to Settings > General > Software Update
    • Install any available updates
  1. Restart your iPhone:
    • Press and hold the side button and either volume button until the slider appears
    • Drag the slider to turn off your iPhone, then press and hold the side button to turn it back on
  1. Check your ringtone:
    • Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Ringtone
    • Make sure a ringtone is selected and play it to verify it works

If none of these solutions work, you may need to:

  • Reset all settings (Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset All Settings)
  • Contact Apple Support as there could be a hardware issue with your speaker

Let me know which of these steps you've tried and if any of them resolved your issue!
