How do I recover funds from a fraudulent Apple Pay transaction?

how to recover repay that somebody fraudulently sent to themselves multiple times for my Apple wallet

someone fraudulently used my Apple Pay wallet to send themselves over $1500 from my Apple wallet most likely using my facial ID. How do I recover this money?

If fraud has been committed by using your device, contact your local law enforcement. Apple has no investigative powers, but do cooperate with local law enforcement.


Local law enforcement may determine it’s a civil matter in which case, you’ll need to hire an attorney and get a judgement against the individual(s).


Your best path forward will be to talk to a supervisor at Green Dot Bank and get their cooperation in pursuing this further. You’ll need their cooperation should you decide to pursue civil or criminal charges.

Yes, the source of funds came from Apple Cash. That is how Apple is involved. That is why I’m reaching out to Apple over $1000 was taken from some gambling app called fish something. I don’t know if they use my facial recognition. I don’t know how they got it but over $1000 has been taken. I have screenshot it every single dollar they took. They started off with one dollar then they went to 30 then they went to 100 then 100 then 100 then 500 That’s how scammers work so I’ve spent the last two weeks trying to get my money back that I work very hard for
