cannot send message using the server icloud

the server response was:

<syn-068-112-151.biz.spectrum.com (68.112.250.151]>: Client host rejected: Access denied

MacBook Air, macOS 15.3

Looks like a spectrum issue.

but I am running another MacBook ( 2018 MacBook Air) using same Spectrum service at the same location ( both devices connect thru wifi) and mail works fine on my older macbook - if it was a spectrum issue ( and I very much dislike Spectrum) then shouldn't I be experience that problem on both of my Mac computers?
