Some transaction worth 10000 dirham has happened to my credit card of Mashreq bank a dispute has been raised to bank and post investigation bank has informed that these transaction has happened through Apple Pay 3D secure I would like to mention that I have no card stored for Mashreq bank in Apple Pay kindly investigate and update how these transaction has been authorized
You would have to ask your bank about why transaction was approved. Apple is not a bank. Only the issuing bank can approve or decline a transaction. Apple did not issue the card and therefore did not approve or decline the transaction.
Apple Pay does not currently use 3D secure. It uses its own form of security involving tokenization and generation of a dynamic random code. Apple Pay uses Face ID or another form of biometric verification.
It sounds like the support person you’re speaking to is confused or doesn’t understand how Apple Pay works.
