Can I use Touch ID on a magic keyboard to unlock M4 MacBook Air connected to external monitor?

I have an M4 MacBook Air arriving soon. I'm going to connect it to a Dell external monitor sometimes. I'd like to connect it in clamshell mode. I'm thinking of buying a Magic Keyboard with Touch ID to use with this setup. Will I be able to use the Touch ID on the Magic Keyboard to wake the MacBook Air, use 1Password, use ApplePay, etc.?

Yes. Use it this way and home and office. Laptop in clamshell with Magic Keyboard with Touch ID.
