How do I access my hidden email for X account verification?

I used hide my email and registered my X account and now it demands I get a code from the email but I can’t access the email . How will I change this and sort it out

Why do Apple send unlocking email to locked account? I have been locked out of my icloud account for 'security reasons' - I have no idea. Anyway, in order to unlock the account, Apple give me 2 options - One of them is to send a verification code to my email.... THE ONE I AM LOCKED OUT OF! Am I missing something here? How am I supposed to access the code if I am locked out of the account? This is beyond frustrating. PS the other option is security questions, which I am sure I am answering right, but Apple doesn't think so - I will assume this is my bad.

Email sent to your hide my email address is forwarded to your normal Apple Account email.
