Desay battery quality problem

I recently learned that my iPad uses a battery manufactured by Desay. This brand is quite infamous in China for being associated with sweatshop conditions, and I’m concerned about the overall quality, longevity, and safety of the battery.

Does anyone have insights into Apple’s quality control process for batteries from third-party suppliers? Should I be worried about potential issues like battery degradation or safety risks?

I’d appreciate any thoughts or experiences regarding Desay batteries in Apple products. Thanks!
