How to reset Face ID with Stolen Device Protection enabled on iPhone?

i have the “Stolen Device Protection” on and I’ve tried to use my Face ID to unlock my phone and get acces to it but it didn’t recognise my face so I used my password and tried to reset my Face ID but it doesn’t work as I have “Stolen Device Protection” on and to be turned off I need to use my Face ID but my Face ID doesn’t recognise my face and cannot be turned off without it

You must disable Stolen Device Protection, and that requires biometric identification (if there was any other way to bypass it, then it wouldn’t provide any stolen device protection).


Thus, if Face ID isn’t working you must restore your phone to factory settings, do the basic setup, then restore your most recent backup.
