Apple watch not tracking heart rate while sleeping

Apple watch not tracking heartrate at night.

I fully charge my watch before bed. I have all the settings toggled correctly per directions I've found online to troubleshoot. It started recording as soon as I got up in the morning but nothing from the night before. I have a series 3 if this matters. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
