I sent a payment through Apple Cash on my phone and the person to receive the money cannot pull it up. I need to refund it so I could try a different method. How do I do that?

If the recipient hasn’t accepted the transfer you can cancel the transfer. Either tap the transaction in the Messages app or the Wallet app and follow the prompts. If cancel doesn’t show, the recipient has accepted the transfer and it is too late. The funds will be available in your account in 1 to 3 business days.

No. You can only cancel the transaction if the recipient has not received it yet. That is done by finding the transaction on your Apple Cash card. When sending Apple Cash, it should only be done to someone you know as the only way to refund the money after it has been accepted is by asking them for the money back. It is a private transaction between 2 parties and since you should know this person, it would not be a problem having them send you the money back. You don’t delete the message, you tap the $$$ amount and it’ll take you to another screen and you tap the transaction and see if there’s a cancel button. You are not deleting the actual message.
