New Password not stored in Keychain

Due to an issue with signing in, had to change password, which is working for access into this account. Undertaken on iMac.

Decided to access via iPhone, for first time, so went into Keychain Access to check new password to enter, discovering this password is the original password, last updated in 2023 and not new password now being used, which should show last updated in 2025.

Obviously the new password is stored somewhere to allow access via iMac, where can I find it so I can use to input into iPhone?

I just expected to be able to see any passwords stored in Keychain.

Await reply to solve...

Ah ...Clicked on password box, discovered 'Manage Passwords’, which brings up ‘Passwords and Autofill’ box, click on view password and I can view password.

Only issue now insert correct username & password, as successfully used on iMac, into iPhone...

Wont recognise!

Managed to fill in help form to send to ‘Site Help’, in attempt to sort!

Why is old password held in Keychain Access, yet current password is used from ‘Passwords & Autofill’. Seems odd but guess someone knows!
