i’m no longer able to track my mothers phone once she leaves her house it does show me when she is home and only when she returns any ideas?

Assuming that your mother is still granting permission for her phone to show you its location – is she allowing her phone to use cellular data?
If she has cellular data turned off, she might not have an Internet connection for most of the time that she is away from home. Without one, the phone would not be able to transmit updates of its location.
Why can't I track my mother's iPhone outside her home using the Find My app?
