How do I remove unauthorized access to my iPhone from another device?

Someone is logged into my iPhone. It doesn’t show up under other devices signed in. I did change my apple password but that was counter-intuitive given that I know the person sees my every move. Oddly enough when I click settings, then my name my phone is listed and it looks to be signed into my Apple account and I changed the password and added my iCloud address but I have the option to click Sign in with Apple ID. In very small print at the bottom it says “you do not have any Apple account logins”. It’s just all very odd.

How can I find out for sure if someone is logged onto my phone without permission

It is simple. Go to Settings > [name on top], and scroll to the bottom to see devices logged into your account. For any unknown devices, you can remove them and you will then need to change your Password. A password would be required to log into your account so that is something you would have had to give the person, although it may have been done accidentally.
