how do I set two sided printing as a default?
Current default on my macbook air - macOS 15.3.2 (24D81) - is for single sided print. I would like the default to be two-sided. How to I reset it?

Almost every printer has the option to save settings. Every printer has a default setting you can modify and then save under a different name. Open a document and look for “Presets” and/or creater a new one with double sided printing turned on. then save it and make it the default.
You may need to set that default on the printer through it's settings menu, or through its administration webpage, if it has one.
Often if you go into System Settings > Printers and Scanners and find your printer you will be presented a printer webpage button, especially if the admin page if advertised over Bonjour.
It depends on the printer capability. Before you print, in the print setting menu, there is a button that can be clicked "Print on both side"
If the printer can not automatically print in both side, the menu button not available.
I have no problem clicking 'print on both sides' for each individual printing assignment. I am asking for a way to set two-sided printing as my default, since that's what I use 90% of the time. Thanks!
