How do I handle missing acknowledgement popup in an iOS app?

What Application?

Command Tab should show you running applications—can you switch to it using the interface (HUD heads up display)

can you drag the window larger?

what about (3 or) 4 finger drag down on the track pad for exposé view?

is it in the Dock? Control click on the Dock icon for some options...

Login and test. Reboot as normal and test.

To drag that app window that is “stuck” between monitors, click the window’s title bar (area to the right of the stoplights) and drag it into place on the desktop.

Perhaps you’d find the errant pop up there.
