The AirPlay and HomeKit settings on your TV, should have options for asking a passcode (randomized 4 digits displayed on screen, to be copied on the sending device) or setting a password (an unknown default might be set initially). A new password can be generation by turning the password requirement off and on, or a custom password can be set.

If it doesn’t work as expected, then try turning options off and on, to reset the options.

Also verify that the TV system software is up-to-date, for best support and fixes.
