Can't sign into Apple TV

After updating my email address and checking it on my PC, Apple TV is still using my old email and won't let me sign in.

Apple TV app login defaults to old Apple ID email Hi, I have the Apple TV app on my TV. I changed my apple ID from one email address to another several months ago, and now use the updated email to log into my apple account. I recently had to sign in to my TV app again and tried to sign in via the QR code to log in via browser on my phone. The Apple TV app does not recognise my credentials when attempting to log in this way, but instead shows an error message and then displays my old Apple ID. If I manually enter my current apple ID and password on my TV app it is accepted. I have tried resetting the Apple TV pp but no change. The app seems to be expecting my old Apple ID as this is shown on the error screen, but this ID is no longer associated with my account. Any suggestions? I can manually log in but this is using the TV remote so takes a lot more time.

Can't login to Apple TV after changing email address I have had to change the email address as the old one from my ISP is to be discontinued. I successfully changed the email used for my Apple ID, but now I cannot log in to Apple TV on my PS4 because it still sees my old email address. When I open the Apple TV app I get the QR code to login. I scan it with my phone and it goes to the webpage in my browser. It asks me to login, which I use my <NEW-email-address> and password. It logs in successfully, keeping in mind that if I used the wrong details here it wouldn't login. Then I get the message on my phone saying "You've signed in to Apple TV. Your TV will refresh" The TV refreshes and I get the error message "Your Apple ID or password is incorrect." If it was, I wouldn't have been able to login on my phone. When I click OK it asks me "Enter the password for <OLD-email-address>" It was the same password for both email addresses. I try entering the password again and it says it was wrong. I had this same problem with the Apple TV app on my Samsung TV which was fixed after uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I tried this with the PS4 and it didn't work. Any Ideas how to fix this?

How do I reconnect an Apple TV hardware after changing my Apple ID password? My regular TV is connected to an AppleTV physical device. I recently changed my AppleID password. When I tried connecting onto AppleTV on my regular TV it asked for my password which I entered. I then got a 6 digits notification on my iPhone but no screen to enter it. As a result I am still unable to connect to AppleTV. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Try deleting website data (browser cookies) for the apple.com domain, then try again.
