My AirPods got in contact with water

I was in the bathroom and my AirPods inside with the whole case fell in the toilet. I had to get them out with my hands as I had to act quick. It took around 10 seconds to get them out. The 5 seconds was me resisting to put my hand in the toilet 😂. But anyways after that I took both out of the case and dried them with a soft tissue, then played water eject noises, and left them to dry without the case for about 12 hours. When I came back I sanitised them with alcohol wipes because they dropped in the toilet. Finally I used an AirPod cleaning tool to clean out any earwax for best performance and when it was time to use them again the sound was playing like nothing happened in fact I think I improved the sound when I cleaned it. By the way they were 3rd generation and were sweat resistant but I think the case shielded the AirPods from getting drenched and if it was just the AirPods that fell in the toilet then that would most likely be a whole different story. Let me know what y’all think👌.
