My app settings for Reddit change by them selves

Everytime I open the app my settings thing my phone change and I can change them and leave my settings open switch back and forth and they change again it’s annoying I just wanna watch my Reddit memes

iPhone 15 Pro Max, iOS 18

How do you close the app:

Swipe up a little to close the app and go back to the Home screen (the right way)
Swipe halfway up, pause, then swipe up on the app image to force close it (the wrong way, and one way to assure you will lose any settings you have changed since opening it)

If you are doing it the right way it is a bug in the app; contact the developer.
