Search function doesn't work in Journal app after iOS 18.2 update

There appear to be two bugs in the Journal app. The first is the search function which in essence doesn’t work. The second is a bit more complicated. If you start a line with with a number then a decimal point and another number then hit the space bar things go seriously out of whack.
