How to check if iPhone 16e supports Color Balance feature with TrueDepth camera?

I’d like this feature but not sure if it’s present or not on 16e. Has anyone got one that can check? I can’t find any technical documentation on it.

thanks.

TrueDepth uses infrared light, invisible to the human eye. There is no calibrating TV colors with a True Depth camera. It is used to map the shape of your face using thousands on invisible light dots, nothing to do with color balance.

I’ve done calibration for my Apple TV’s and friends and relatives TV’s multiple times.

The calibration requires the iPhone is a new enough model that it uses Face ID as opposed to Touch ID. It uses the front facing camera to calibrate the screen, not TrueDepth camera as Kurtosis12 stated. You were reading a little too much into the requirements for the iPhone necessary for calibration, that’s all.

This is not a complicated process. Your iPhone will either connect with your Apple TV or it won’t. If it does, you’re golden. If it doesn’t, one or both devices may require an update.

Before attempting to connect, please make sure both are updated to latest iOS versions. Then follow instructions to connect.

Waiting for another user to show up is unlikely, 16e is too new to already have millions of users. Your specific query is pretty esoteric in my opinion.
