Why are my iPhone calls going straight to voicemail?

It is as my phone is on silent because I do not hear a ringtone, and all my calls are being sent to voicemail. Please help.

  • Go to Settings > Phone > Silence Unknown Callers, and make sure it is set to off.
  • Open Control Center and turn off Focus
  • Go to Settings > Sound & Haptics, and make sure there is a sound set for Ringtone
  • Obviously, check the volume setting at Settings > Sound & Haptics > Ringer Volume
  • If you are a Verizon customer, dial #611 and tell them your calls are going to Voicemail. There have been reports from Verizon customers that this problem was solved by them, but may also want to check with your cell provider as well. The cellular provider is the one that sets the number of seconds before the call is sent to Voicemail. Voicemail is a service offered by the cell provider and those calls are not actually being recorded on your phone.
