How do I update payment details on AppStore when iTunes support is required?

I’m having difficulty in downloading applications on AppStore and I was directed to update my payment details, but it insisted I contact iTunes support before I could complete the transaction to update the details. Please how do I go about rectifying that?

To rectify this, you must do as instructed and contact iTunes. You are posting to a user to user forum. We do not have access to your records or cannot try to resolve this.


To contact iTunes Support, do this: 

1. Click on this link --> Choose your country or region - Official Apple Support  

2. Select your country

3. Select: Billing & Subscriptions

4. Select: Subscriptions & Purchases

5. Select: Update payment method

6. Select a chat session or a phone call.
