DAN number of my card

Hi, Few weeks ago I paid parking ticket by my phone.

I now trying to get back the money as ai was charged twice.

Parking service requires my card no.

As I was paying my mobile, seems the card no is different than original.

I was told that once I install card on mobile, it’s number is changed (for safety reasons).

Now, as I’m living 8h of driving from place where I parked, it’s not possible to be there with my mobile.

How I can find DAN number and provide it to parking service and get my money back?

The DAN (actually DPAN or Device Primary Account Number) is never exposed or disclosed for anti fraud purposes. Your device only has partial DPAN number and it’s encrypted. Only the issuing bank and their authorized service provider has key to decrypt the number. Your iPhone nor Apple have the key.

Federal law specifically states only the last 4 numbers of the card are required for a credit card return. The DPAN is available in your Apple Wallet. Please follow this path,

iPhone > Wallet app > Card > More Button (3 dots in circle upper right corner of screen) > Card Number > Apple Pay > xxxx
