Has packaging secure seal changed?

I have just purchased these AirPods 2nd generation online. Packaging dirty with these silver secure seals. Seller assures me these are brand new and explained this is how Apple seal now but I need reassurance.

Hello, i recently accidentally put my airpod pro 2’s case in the washer (no headphones in them) and when i noticed i took them out after probably 20-30 minutes. I checked them and the insides were a little wet not soaked/drenched but like little droplets. I checked if they worked after drying them via hand-towel and q tip and they work charging the headphones and the port. Is this normal or should i still put em in rice or something

My AirPods Max may have liquid damage. How can I ship them to Apple for repair? my AirPods max got sweat stains on the cups and the headband tried to clean them with water but I think they got liquid damage and they stopped working and it didn't clean them either. the nearest Apple store is 2 hours from where I live and I am unable to take them there to be repaired. is there a way to send them to Apple repair in the post how much would it cost and would they be able to replace the cups and headband as well as fixing the sound? Airpods Pro 2 box does not have CSA logo I recently bought 2 airpods Pro 2's from Costco as they were on a pretty sweet deal. However, after comparing the two boxes that were given to me they looked exactly the same except one box has the "CSA Energy Verified Only" logo printed above the serial number, while the other box does not. I checked both serial numbers on Apple's coverage checker site, and both popped up as Airpods Pro 2 and both were unactivated. However, I am just skeptical as the boxes differ with the CSA logo. Could Costco have possibly sold me a fake pair of airpods Pro 2? Or is the discrepancy between the printings on the two boxes negligible?

I don't believe for a second that's a new, unopened item. Apple would never cover part of the text or image with tape.

Return them and find a reputable dealer.

I concur. Everything I've bought for the past several years has a small, clear security tape.
