I've just upgraded to Music from iTunes and don't seem to be able to listen to short samples from an album I might wish to buy - like I used to be able to! I just get a widow to buy Apple Music.
Am using Sonoma 14.7.4
Music version 1.4.6.32
This happens when I search for a band (Snapped Ankles) and the usual blue play icon has turned red!

In which case after searching for something try clicking the ... ellipsis menu and see if Show in iTunes Store is available. If so click that to get you away from the Apple Music version which wants a subscription.

Try Music > Settings > General > Show: > iTunes Store, then click the iTunes Store link in the sidebar to look for tracks to preview or purchase.

Thanks for quick reply.
Just tried that but no change. If it helps, I can sample tracks from the list of new albums that Music has at the front end of the Store - they have the usual blue arrows - but not when I search. Also, the search bar top left in the music window is highlighted in red...
