How to fix Qardio Heart Health app connection issues on iPhone?

Short story too long. I began working in mainframes. Two giant machines capable of running thousands of apps at once. Eacch app dipping into the Central Processing Unit when needed for resources. When I left we were all server based. There were 19 thousand rack mounted servers doing the work of those two mainframes. Each server would support one app only. In this case, one for Quardio for IOS5, one for IOS6, and so on. My only guess is that the servers for IOS 8 are still alive out there. When they finally get rid of them it's called decommisioning. They will soon do so I'd bet.

Sorry, have to correct one detail of my previous message, I can log in to Qardio but it is with a iPhone Xr, not an 8 as previous. Prior to creating this message I booted the Xr and ran 3 BP readings. The sad part is all of my years of data are not available on this phone. The Xr is not connected to cellular service.

I guess I'm wondering if earlier versions of the app didn't maintain a history of the readings and therefore had no need to reach out to the servers. Perhaps history was added later. I'm sorry some of you can no longer see your history. It's very helpful to see over months and years of monitoring blood pressure, how you've progressed. I'm charging my old iPhone 6 now to test out the app so I can see what you're seeing.

Watson! The game is afoot! This is awesome. This morning I decided to try and send the APP on the Xr to an iPad and see if it performs the same, haven't been able to do that yet. But I am very happy to read that my APP is not an Alien with it's own embedded power system.

One more puzzle piece. In the past I always used a Gen 6 iPad with Qardio, it , of course, has been dead. Today I hit the app and it asked to pair, then the green Start appeared. I used the app and then poked around at my history, that's when I lost control of the App. Wants to come back but the login immediately appears.

Ok, after much experimenting and following suggestions in the”Community” (unfortunately nothing worked), I was able to pair my Apple Watch 9 with the Qardio BP Cuff and take accurate readings. That said I was unable to save any readings because the Qardio server and/Apple Health connection with Qardio was d.o.a.

Great news for me as the BO Cuff now works and is no longer a paper weight.

Good luck with that. I followed the steps to connect readings to Apple Health. Did not work as there was an attempt to connect to Qardio servers. Please let me know if you can connect the two. Kind of a pain manually entering reading - but at least the cuff works (for now)!

#ptylr, I want to thank you! It works great. Exactly what was missing! As a recommendation for an extra feature, if possible, could you implement a 3 read mode with a pause of 30 seconds, and send best reading to health? Similar to what qardio was recording? If not, it’s not a problem, it works great as is. Thanks again!

WOW! My wife and I LOVE Qardio and were devastated. We were seconds away from purchasing another monitor device, when I saw this article! THANK YOU! YOU SAVED OUR BELOVED QARDIO BP Monitor. Now….. can we do same for the Qardio Scale??

I think your APP, LibreArm, is more efficient than the original. Thank you for making this possible. I was using an old iPhone, think it’s an XR, before numbers anyway, and it would get the cuff working. Glad to be done with that work-around.

I have had this problem. Unfortunately I don’t seem to be able to use any of the remedies. I have the Qardio arm but cannot pair it with the phone. I remove the batteries, replace them and close end and a green light comes on briefly but although iPhone 16 Bluetooth is open, it does not register the QARDIO cuff. Can anyone help me?

I am receiving the same error message of my new iPhone 16 Pro. "The Qardio service cannot be reached. Please check your internet connection and try again."

Company is slowly not supporting their products. Hopefully my existing products can still use the app….

Unable to even get into the App and use the BP cuff offline. I removed the APP and reinstalled and still get the same message.
