When I write on my iPad, squiggly lines shoot across the screen.

So i've had my iPad for a few years, and the past year or so I've been having trouble writing ANYTHING with my apple pencil without it drawing scribbles everywhere else. I've been putting up with it, but it's gotten so bad that I can't write anything at all without this happening. I can't take any notes, and its infuriating.

Ive tried getting new apple pencil tips, a new iPad case, a new screen protector. Pretty much everything out there.

Anyone else? Anyone have any fixes? I spent too much money on this thing for it to not work.

Do you see the same behaviour with the screen protector removed from the iPad screen?

Not all screen protectors work well with Apple Pencil.

If the screen protector makes it impossible to use your iPad in the way you want, perhaps it's time to try without.

I've never put a screen protector on an iPad. I always keep in a folio cover that protects the glass when I'm not using it. I've never had an issue.

I haven't tried. I'm too nervous to not have a screen protector on my iPad. But, I've tried many different ones (paper, glass, etc)
