My airpod pro 2nd generation will not register with my devices Id list. Even though they bluetooth pair with my iphone and ipads, they don't show up on my list of devices.

You may want to try resetting your AirPods, and then pairing them again with your Apple device.
To reset your AirPods: Unpair, restart, or reset your AirPods - Apple Support .
And to pair your AirPods again: Pair AirPods with an Apple device - Apple Support.
