Please help me bypass iPhone unavailable on iPhone X — need to access authenticator app and data (no restore)

Hey guys,

I need to access my authenticator on this phone. I’m across the country and I asked my dad to get into it for the authenticator code but he somehow put it wrong too many times and got to the disabled screen. I looked online and it looked like I had to plug it into iTunes and update it (my SIM card still active with internet at this point — not sure why it’s not still on our WiFi but I was still able to see the phones location from where I am). Find my iPhone is enabled for my iCloud same one I use on my current phone.

I updated the phone via iPhone to 16.7.10 and it tries to restore data but failed and now I am stuck at the “iPhone unavailable” screen. I am in desperate need of help and don’t know what else to do at this point. I will take it to Apple to see if they’re able to help.

Are there any 3rd party app that will work or how can I transfer the authenticator to my new phone?

Am I able to access the phone’s storage somehow maybe there’s a backup file that I can use to restore onto the new phone?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
