How to control ringer and text volume iPhone 14 Pro Max

I have iPhone 14 Pro Max, I had to reset my phone a few weeks ago after my Face ID stopped working. Since then I am have trouble finding how to have ringer loude, return text & notifications alerts to a lower volume. It hurts ones ear when talking on the phone and a text “DINGS” in the ear. Any help is appreciated!
