Unable to recover calendar from iPhone backup
My Iphone was backed up but when I tried to recover my calendar it didn't do anything. Has anyone experienced this?

You haven't described what you have tried to do. Did you restore your iPhone from an iCloud backup?
Your calendar data is not included in iPhone iCloud backups if you already sync it to iCloud - and you probably do. You can see a list here of what is included in an iCloud backup.
If you have lost your calendar data you can attempt to restore it. Read the notes in Use iCloud.com to restore and recover iCloud information - Apple Support
