Widget “Find Focus in the Day” missing after closing

Wotsit666 first asked this question "on Nov 11, 2021 10:40 PM".

They asked: "When first selecting “Focus” from the Control Panel, there is a title widget called “Find Focus in the Day”. I inadvertently closed it with the X in the top right, but now I can’t get it back! See picture. How do you restore this ply?"

I'm posting in the hopes that Wotsit666 and the 34 other people who responded "Me too" will see this.

I figured out how to restore it. I erased the phone using "Transfer or Reset iPhone." then restored from a backup I had made before I closed the title widget.

This is, I will admit, a lot of work for a title widget. But it is effective, and my phone is new, so there was not that much to restore.

There may be a simpler way to restore this widget. If there is, please share. If not, here is your answer.

You could have tried resetting all settings on your iPhone. This will not erase your data but will reset all personalized settings to their default values. Go to Settings > General > Transfer & Reset > Reset > Reset All Settings and confirm the action. Note that you will need to reconfigure your settings afterward. All settings—including network settings, the keyboard dictionary, the Home screen layout, location settings, privacy settings, and Apple Pay cards—are removed or reset to their defaults. No data or media are deleted.

  1. Reset All Settings: Return iPhone settings to their defaults - Apple Support:- Return iPhone settings to their defaults
  2. You can return settings to their defaults without erasing your content.
  3. If you want to save your settings, back up your iPhone before returning them to their defaults. For example, if you’re trying to solve a problem but returning settings to their defaults doesn’t help, you might want to restore your previous settings from a backup.
