Phone still rings in silent mode

Okay, super simple:

* Check who's calling: Some people (like family) can bypass silent mode.

* "Do Not Disturb": Make sure it's really blocking everyone.

* Alarms ring: That's normal.

* Restart your phone: A quick restart often fixes weird glitches.

* Update your phone: New software can fix bugs.

* Call Apple: If nothing works, your phone might be broken.

People who are in Favorites will still ring through.

Note that "Silent Mode" also doesn't silence everything. It silences system notifications (which should include ringtones). It does NOT silence music or the alarm.

I would also add that "Silent Mode" is not the same thing as "Do Not Disturb (Focus)." Can you confirm which one you're actually using?
