Saving Freeform board in Photos or as PNG

I have been using Freeform for 6-8 months ? And so far, still no feature to save a chart, a scene, a board as a PNG, JPEG without it being an extremely low resolution version of the chart.

  • Yes, I am aware you can select objects then directly then paste an image with translucent background BUT you only get a measly 8MB to work with as an image.
    • PNG : easier to use, can be cropped but text resolution doesn’t follow. Also, 8 MP on pasteboard.
  • PDF : higher resolution, does not care about file size but can’t be cropped nor converted into an image as easily. Sadly, even Apple Shortcuts unreliable and will categorically refuse to convert any PDF whose size is comparable to 8 MP. Back to square one.
    • Does not like image transparency but I do not care, I’m rather mentioning it as a warning, could be bothersome to other users.

Below is a screenshot of a use case of that feature.

  • This screenshot is an extreme case example but it encompasses the variety of objects I’d like to export as a PNG, ****, even JPEG would do fine.
    • You got text objects, images, lines. Ideally I’d separate this tree layout into 5-6 images but pasteboard limit would crush the resolution and PDF is too tedious to work with and the Shortcuts app does not make it easier :/

Any workaround on iPad ?

Please, don’t feel excluded if you have a somewhat off-topic solution : I’ll take a working Shortcut (PDF → image without downsizing the file size), an app name, a website link.

Thanks for reading my rambling and have a delightful spring,

A.A.

Edit, 2 minutes later : I am aware of the Feedback section. I already submitted it and at this point resorting to the Apple Community gives me more hope.
