How do I permanently lock a lost iPhone 11 Pro Max offline and contact Apple support in Kenya?

I lost my iphone 11 promax through robbery. The phone is untraceable on Find My as it says device offline. I am however receiving stange calls and Whatsap chats from some US code phone numebrs. The automation keep asking for my passcode. I even got an apple message that my phone has been found with a link that opened to a page that needed me to key in passcode. This felt funny. Could this contacts really be apple? is there a direct email to apple? i'm in kenya. s there a way to permanently lock my lost device?

Apple does not participate in Find My Services. It’s a service for iPhone owners. Apple will never contact you about a lost device. All those calls are from scammers.

Never interact with any of the emails, texts and messages. Block all senders, report as junk. The iPhone is lost for good. Get any notions of finding it out of your head.

Apple in Kenya do not participate in finding lost iPhone, reporting them lost or other services related to lost iPhones.

Report lost and stolen iPhones to local law enforcement and your job is done. Let law enforcement do their jobs.

Those messages are from criminals trying to scam you. They want to get your help to remove Activation Lock so they can “make your phone their own.” With your Apple ID credentials or passcode, they could also go through your data or try to scam you in other ways.

Do not give them anything and do not remove your phone from the list of devices associated with your Apple ID. Just mark it as Lost, and optionally, request a remote Erase.

No please don't click on the link and log in with your information, that is the thief trying to get your information.

Good morning and thank you for that
When I remote erase, will this remove the phone from my list of devices?

No. There are two options in Find My, "Erasing" and "Removing" your iPhone. Erasing your iPhone only resets all content and settings. Removing your iPhone is what would remove it from your list of devices, which you should not do.
