Any issues with the latest iOS 18.3.2 software?
How’s the latest iOS 18.3.2 update? Did anyone face issues with it?
Just wanted to know before I update my iPhone 13 Pro Max.

The camera on my iPhone 15 just shows a black screen since updating to iOS 18.3.2.
Have try all the resets suggested without success. Going to Apple Store (which is 50 miles away!) this weekend to see if they can help.

I already told you that I called Apple Support and they had no solutions to this issue. I was having no issues with my iPhone and IPad until this software update. I guess I can keep calling Apple until they fix the problem. I already told you that I can receive group texts but am unable to respond to them. I frankly don’t care how many people are affected, I just know it is more than myself and it is on multiple devices.
I want the problem resolved!
I believe it is very much Apple’s issue. It is related to their messaging App. It has nothing to do with perfection. It has to do with them recognizing the update has flaws and they need to be fixed. We, as users expect our services to be provided without interruption when we did nothing to change those services.
No, it is not the carrier. The problem arose when IOS 18.3.2 was put out. That is the common denominator with all of us who are having this issue. Nothing else changed other than this update. Apple needs to step up and fix the problem!

I have to keep restarting my phone. When I wake up in the morning, my messenger decides it don’t wanna work every single day. My microphone somehow turned itself off. I don’t know why. I don’t know how to fix it because it don’t show a microphone option anymore. I cannot call on any app. I cannot voice record on any app. I cannot take photos on any app. I cannot send photos on any app. I have to keep restarting my phone. I have an iPhone 16. It also will not let me use my mobile hotspot or my data. And yes, I fixed every bit of it to where it should. My husband Samsung S 25 is perfect. But for some reason, my iPhone 16 ain’t?
Wow, I have an iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max, with ZERO issues after updating to iOS 18.3.2. Of course after every update I ever do on my iPhone, I immediately do a Forced Restart --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
But If I did have as many issues as you claim to have, I wouldn't be on a user to user only forum about it, I'd have already scheduled an appointment at my closest Apple Store Genius Bar since I know my phone is still under warranty. Guess I'm weird that way.......Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple
Yes, I too faced the same issue. After updating the software iOS 18.3.2 my I phone 14 camera also turns to black screen and flash also not working.
Camera replacement cost Apple is claiming 21500 INR because of their fault.

Is every single person in the group an iPhone owner? If they ALL are, then perhaps there could be an issue with iMessage, but I'm willing to bet there is at least one user in the group who isn't an iPhone user or at least one signed into iMessage and if that is the case, then NO, it's not an Apple issue. It's a carrier issue as your carrier delivers text messages, not Apple. And as long as at least one person in the group isn't an iPhone or iMessage user, then iMessage is not being used to send or receive the group text. Again, it's your carrier the messages are sent and received to and from.
It was Apple that did the update and caused the problem!
I don’t know if the person who started the group was an Android user or not. The group has been in existence since 2023.
i talked to my carrier yesterday and they thought I had 3 heads.
Apple needs to step up and correct the problem!

An iPhone 6 can be updated to 12.5.7. There’ll never be another update for that model.
I thought security updates and the like are still released for older iPhones, but maybe not updates related to new features, etc.? Am I wrong?
Apple released iOS 12.5.7 in December 2023. And there have been no new updates since. Whether Apple may find it necessary to offer a security update for such an out of date version, we can't know. iPhone 6 is considered Obsolete at this point. Typically, obsolete devices don't get anything.
I’m not sure what went wrong, but ever since the update, the sound quality and volume have dropped significantly.
Whenever I play something, the audio comes out distorted and crackly.
P.S. I recently visited the service center for a battery replacement, and they also cleaned the speakers. Everything was working perfectly before the update.

Yes, there is a problem with 18.3.2. I can receive group texts but I cannot send in that group. I can send to individuals separately but not in the group. It did not show up as an issue until the 18.3.2 update.

You conveniently didn't answer my question. IS ANYONE IN THE GROUP not an iPhone user? The fact it happened with an iOS update, still doesn't make it an Apple caused issue. When Apple rolls out an update, it's up to your carrier to roll out an update to your phone as well.

The groups were already established before this latest update occurred. I had the Apple tech on screen sharing so they could see my devices. I really don’t have hours and hours to do troubleshooting. I can work around the issue but it is extremely frustrating when I did nothing to change my devices. I just want the problem fixed.
i will go out and see if the Android users are having issues also. At this point, it seems to be only us Apple users.
And you have just proved my point. There are Android users, so none of the messages are being sent or received via Apple's iMessage. The issue is NOT with Apple. The messages are being send and received by your carrier. You can wait for Apple on this, but since Apple isn't a carrier and they don't send or receive SMS Messages, your wait may be in vain. You are free to place the blame on Apple if you want. Even if the blame really isn't placed where it belongs.
You take care and I hope your issue is resolved at some point.
