No network found on my iPhone 12 Pro Max after iOS 18.3.2 update

I am using iPhone 12 Pro max and I just updated from IOS 18.3.1 to 18.3.2 and my cellular works for a while then stopped, even though my phone show mobile signal is full and 4G icon is there. Try to restart and also reset my network setting to no success. By the way, my wifi is working fine.

Really frustrating when I need to use it outside my home.

Try the following steps one at a time to find a resolution.

1. Update Carrier Settings

  • Go to Settings ➡️ General ➡️ About.
  • If a carrier update is available, a prompt will appear. Follow the instructions to update.

2. Reinsert Your SIM Card

  • Use a SIM ejector tool to remove your SIM card.
  • Inspect it for any visible damage, then reinsert it securely.

3. Disable Wi-Fi Calling

  • Go to Settings ➡️ Cellular ➡️ Wi-Fi Calling and set it to OFF. Sometimes, Wi-Fi Calling can interfere with cellular connectivity.

4. Toggle Airplane Mode

  • Turn on Airplane Mode for about 30 seconds, then turn it off. This can refresh your connection to the cellular network.

5. Reset Network Settings Again

  • Go to Settings ➡️ General ➡️ Transfer or Reset iPhone ➡️ Reset ➡️ Reset Network Settings. This will clear all network configurations, so you’ll need to reconnect to Wi-Fi afterward.

6. Check for VPN or Proxy Settings

  • If you’re using a VPN, disable it temporarily to see if it’s causing the issue. Go to Settings ➡️ VPN & Device Management.

7. Contact Your Carrier

  • There might be an issue with your carrier’s network or your account. Reach out to them to confirm everything is in order.

If none of these steps work, it’s possible the update exposed a hardware issue with your cellular modem. In that case, visiting an Apple Store or authorized service provider for diagnostics would be the best course of action.

Troubleshooting SIM/WiFi Errors After an Update:

A. Start With these Two Links:

B. Install a Carrier Update:

It might be prompting you for a Carrier update to install. So, go here for that. Update your carrier settings manually on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

C. Contact your Carrier:

If a Carrier update is of no success, then contact your Carrier, as they are the one who provide you with the service of configuring the SIM card.

D. Report this to Apple:

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread.
  4. Proceed from there as necessary
