my mom has dementia and she lost her purse and phone- she lives in Canada- I live in florida - my step dad is her caregiver- does not have an iphone and he is not tech oriented at all - can I help my mom find where this phone is from here in florida ? help ?

If you know your moms Apple Account and Password, you can sign into www.icloud.com with her credentials and look for it.

If you don't know the Apple Account credentials, nor was she sharing her location with you in Friends on Find My before the phone was lost, you can't track it. Apple doesn't get involved in lost or stolen devices and it would require a court order for your carrier to see if they can find its location. So hopefully, you know the account crednetials.
