You may have the Spoken Content Accessibility setting turned on. Try Settings > Accessibility > Spoken Content > Turn off Speak Screen and Speak Selection.

Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve this:

1. Disable Dictation:

  • Go to Settings ➡️ General ➡️ Keyboard.
  • Set Enable Dictation to OFF. This should stop the microphone from activating while typing.

2. Check Accessibility Settings:

  • Go to Settings ➡️ Accessibility ➡️ Voice Control.

- If Voice Control is enabled, turn it off to prevent unintended microphone activation.

3. Restart Your iPhone:

  • Open Settings ➡️ General ➡️ Shut Down (Option is available when you scroll all the way down)
  • Turn your iPhone back on after a few seconds.

4. Reset All Settings:

  • If the issue persists, reset all settings (this won’t delete your data). Go to Settings ➡️ General ➡️ Transfer or Reset ➡️ Reset ➡️ Reset All Settings.
