If you encounter a "No AirPrint Printers Found" error on your iPhone 16 or iPad after upgrading to iOS 18.3.2, try these troubleshooting steps: ensure your printer and device are on the same Wi-Fi network, restart both devices, and verify AirPrint is enabled on your printer.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

1. Verify Network Connection:

  • Same Wi-Fi Network:
  • Make sure your iPhone/iPad and the printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Check Wi-Fi Strength:
  • Ensure a strong Wi-Fi signal by moving the printer and/or device closer to the router.
  • Restart Router and Devices:
  • Restart your Wi-Fi router and your iPhone/iPad to refresh network connections.

2. Check Printer Status:

  • Printer is On and Ready: Ensure the printer is powered on and in a ready state (not in sleep mode).
  • Wireless Signal is Enabled: Confirm the printer's wireless signal is active.
  • AirPrint is Enabled (if applicable): Some printers require AirPrint to be explicitly enabled in the printer's settings or through the printer's manufacturer's app.
  • Check Printer Firmware: Ensure your printer has the latest firmware installed.

3. Troubleshooting on iPhone/iPad:

  • Force Restart iPhone/iPad:
  • A force restart can resolve temporary software glitches.
    • iPhone 16: Press and quickly release the Volume Up button, then press and quickly release the Volume Down button, then press and hold the Side button until the Apple logo appears.
    • iPad: Press and hold the top button (or the Side button on some models) and the Volume Up button until the Apple logo appears.
  • Check for App Issues:
  • If you're printing from a specific app, ensure the app supports AirPrint and that the app itself isn't causing the issue.
  • Check for App Updates:
  • Make sure both the app you're using to print and the iOS are up to date.
  • Reset Network Settings:
  • As a last resort, you can reset network settings on your iPhone/iPad (Settings > General > Transfer or Reset > Reset > Reset Network Settings).

4. If AirPrint Still Doesn't Work:

  • Contact Printer Manufacturer:
  • If the issue persists, contact the printer manufacturer's support for assistance.
  • Explore Alternative Printing Methods:
  • If your printer doesn't support AirPrint, consider using a USB cable (if supported) or a third-party printing app
