Here are some steps you can try to fix the issue:
1. Check Auto-Capitalization Settings: Go to Settings ➡️ General ➡️ Keyboard and ensure Auto-Capitalization is set to OFF.
2. Reset Keyboard Dictionary: Sometimes, the keyboard dictionary can cause odd behavior. Go to Settings ➡️ General ➡️ Reset and select Reset Keyboard Dictionary. This won't affect other data on your phone.
3. Text Replacement: Check if there's a text replacement set up for "thats" to "THATS." Go to Settings ➡️ General ➡️ Keyboard ➡️ Text Replacement and delete any unwanted entries.
4. Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:
- Press and quickly release Volume UP button
- Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
- Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).
5. Update iOS: Make sure your iPhone is running the latest iOS version, as updates often fix issues.
